I was constantly encouraged and inspired to be a strong, critical thinker who would never think twice about going beyond the reaches of the Bronx and NYC. The Ursuline tradition, ideals and values are still evident in my life when I take the time to be involved in community work, find myself in leadership positions, and challenge a society that does not put others first. I hope that where ever I settle and have a family, I will be able to provide for my daughters the same quality education that I received. We have a great 'Junior Freshman Sister' relationship, I still keep in touch with my Junior sister, we still go out to dinner and lunch. Coming from a small family MSU gave me an older sister, she is my role model. The friendships I made here I know are going to last for a life time. We're not perfect girls, we argue, we laugh, we cry, we make mistakes; but we're all girls so emotions run high. MSU teachers are there for us, they treat us like family. Looking back at my highschool years, I can't imagine having gone to a different school.
