I feel that my school sets a higher standard which hepls to push the students to work much harder. seeing that we are prep school the harder work is given to show you a portion of what college will be like. I first came to bronx prep within their second year opening i found the school to be challenging but as you move along and adjust to the people and classes you feel less pressured. the staff as well as students are some what friendly but we don't go to school to make friends we are there for our education. I think bronx prep is one of the best schools in the bronx aside from kipp and kappa academy. you should look into the school it's really great.”

“Bronx Prep. is a great school. I choose this school when my son when in the third grade after watching two students that attended the school. They made a lasting impression. My son loves Bronx Prep. as do I. He is taking Latin and music which is no longer taught in public school. His teacher and I have a great relationship and we speak via e-mail a few times a week. So I'm aware of what's going on in his class. Since they only accept 5th grader he will be with same students until he graduates from high school. Bronx Prep. is a community school meaning everyone knows everyone. And they make you feel very comfortable and encourage you to participate in school activities. If you choose this school for your child you can be secure in your decision.”

“Bronx Prep is an excellent school. It teaches the children in a traditional setting and they have traditional ways of teaching.My son loves the school. If you need the teachers you can call them or e-mail them at any time. The work is excellent and they don't teach to the state test , they incorporate it in their daily lessons. The school my son was in last year focused everything thing around the test. Now he is well rounded in all his areas.Music is mandatory and he is taken Latin in the 5th grade.They also have mandatory enrichment, which is great and he loves it. They also focus a lot on preparing for college in the future. Their classes or not numbers they are named after colleges. If you consider a charter school choose this one.”

“Bx Prep is an excellant school. It's very hard to find a quality middle school in the Bronx, but Bx Prep meets the standards of any Private school. Besides Math and Literacy , my child receives Piano lessons every day. What other school mandates that each child has every teachers phone number so they can receive homework help or parents can speak to them every day until 10pm? My child and I both love this school!”
