Bergen Center for Child Development Reviews

Students are not prepared for the real world. While many teachers are very caring and supportive, there is no job coaching or any type of community vocational program, which is very important for this population of students. Hopefully this will change in the future, but at this point students are missing an important component of their education.

Wow, that parent has no clue. My child has been at BCCD for many years and I have always found the staff to be extremely supportive, kind and knowledgeable of every students needs. Please visit the school and you will see a great supportive family environment.

The quality of education at Bergen Center has disintegrated during the past several years. The environment has become punitive and unprofessional, with much less regard for individual student needs than was shown in the past. Staff do not seem to be trained in the use of behavior plans, and communication is extremely poor.
