Nativity of Our Blessed Lady School Reviews

I went to nativity and had to leave when my family moved to florida. When I started school in florida, I was a year ahead of everyone and got bored with school because they didn't challenge me like nativity did. Every day I wish I could go back.

My son is in the third grade at nativity of our blessed lady, I have nieces and nephew that are presently attending the school. They all are well discipline and doing great. I took my son from a public school and see great changes in a few months. Now I have enrolled my daughter for the new school year. If you are looking for a well discipline, safe and cheerful place to send your child, nativity is the place. The religious teaching is phenomenal. The principal is very strict; he is also extremely patient and understanding. Most of the teachers and administrative staff are excellent. I truly believe that a few teachers could be a little more patient; the school has a very good Spanish and music teacher. I agreed that they need to improve on the extracurricular activity. After comparing Nativity with the others schools, they are the best.

My daughter has attended Nativity School for the past 5 years. I am very pleased with the education she receives here. The principal is dedicated and hardworking. The teachers want the best for the children. Nativity is a GREAT school.

Nativity lacks in the department of physical education and performing arts. The grounds are very closed in and technology needs more improvement since students must all use the small computer room in the cafeteria area. Technology in today's society is a must and unfortunately students at Nativity are lacking this experience. No tolerance for misconduct, from my point of view, is good but at times becomes obsessive to the point students cannot dance or skip during recess. Leadership wise, principal and teachers need to be more amicable toward students' and their academic struggles. My experience at first was good, but as my child advanced, the school lacked in its performance of nourishing a setting that is both supportive and educative. Please, reconsider and do not be fooled by the small setting that can be miscontrued as a family setting.

My son attended Nativity for two years. In my opinion, the school was poorly run and concerns were swept under the carpet. His fifth grade teacher would refer to him as a 'debacle' which meant failure. Classes contained 32+ students. There are no art classes and limited extracurricular activities.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with my Pre-K child. I took my child out the school and re-enrolled at St. Frances of Rome because Nativity school lacks support for both parents and students. Please, research and re-tink before enrolling your child.

Nativity is a great school. The principal has demonstrated excellent leadership skills as far as the students as well as teachers are concerned. He makes the children his priority and any problems are handled promptly. My son has attended this school since Pre-K, and we have not really had any problems with the leadership or teachers until this year. However, the principal is working with us to solve the problem and has been professional and understanding considering the circumstances.Hopefully it will be worked out amicably for all involved. Nevertheless, this is a wonderful school, the students are well-behaved,(there is very low tolerance for any misbehavior) respectful, and it is a wonderful learning environment.

My daughter has attended Nativity of Our Blessed Lady School since Pre-K and she is now in eighth grade. I am very pleased with the schools academic programs and extracurricular activities. The family type atmosphere of the school under the leadership of the principal is great. The children are reminded each day of how special, beautiful, and important they are. I would highly recommend this school.
