Our Lady of Refuge School Reviews

the worst school ever i should have never brought my child here and principle has a bigg temper

The teachers do not actually teach the students and yell at them. My child comes home upset everyday saying that she has too much homework and that recess was canceled. The lunch is terrible and the principal is short tempered. This is my daughter's last year here because I am taking her out of this school.

I thought I was sending my child to a good school I am very disappointed with the way they run the school. Is true their not teaching the student but i think the problem is that they take to many kids. Imagen 35-40 students per class, that s too much for the teacher to handle. I register my child in this school because of the reputation it had but now it s going down the drain. Another thing I notice if you are not a member of the church they treat you different to the ones that are members. The principle is a nice lady but she does have her momemt of a bad temper. They try to make you think you child has A.D.D or some problem, but they are kids and there are ones that are worse but are not being looked at as the kids of the non-members.

This is very good. The principal disciples her students and she is very understanding. This school is very religious and the Pastor is very nice.also the teacher actually teach the students. That's what I like the most.

OLR is a small and family friendly school. The principal greets the children at the door every morning. Staff is small and many have multiple roles at the school which makes it safe and family friendly. The academics are above average. I would only ask that the principal play a more active role when parents have questions and/or complaints. Otherwise this is an excellent school.

My son has been attending OLR for the past 3yrs. The principal, teachers and staff all work together and respond quickly when called. This school focuses on long-term issues; therefore they work hard in providing a good education for the children and the task they face in the coming years. I highly recommend this school.
