Academy of Mount St. Ursula Reviews

The most important time of my formative years were spent at the Academy of Mount Saint Ursula. I was constantly encouraged and inspired to be a strong, critical thinker who would never think twice about going beyond the reaches of the Bronx and NYC. The Ursuline tradition, ideals and values are still evident in my life when I take the time to be involved in community work, find myself in leadership positions, and challenge a society that does not put others first. I hope that where ever I settle and have a family, I will be able to provide for my daughters the same quality education that I received. Thank you, Grazie, Gracias, Merci Beaucoup, MSU!

I am an alumna of the school. I am proud of the strong academics and I feel that the confidence I gained there set me up for success in college and career. And I made lifelong friends.

As an alumna, I feel the Mt St Ursula provided me with a great foundation for college & grad school (I even used my Calculus 'cheat sheets' in undergrad). I am still very involved & feel that to this day, they provide students with a quality education.

I learned more in public school than I did at Academy of Mt. Ursula. The school is over rated, a total waste of money.

I'm a proud student of MSU, I'm a senior right now and I couldn't imagine going to another highschool The teachers are always there for us when we need them, we're a close family. We have a great 'Junior Freshman Sister' relationship, I still keep in touch with my Junior sister, we still go out to dinner and lunch. Coming from a small family MSU gave me an older sister, she is my role model. The friendships I made here I know are going to last for a life time. We're not perfect girls, we argue, we laugh, we cry, we make mistakes; but we're all girls so emotions run high. MSU teachers are there for us, they treat us like family. Looking back at my highschool years, I can't imagine having gone to a different school. I know for a fact that MSU will always be my home.

I am a proud alumnae of MSU. When you send your daughter there you can be assured that she will be supported and respected. The education she will receive is top notch and the friendships she will make will last forever. I would not trade my years at the Mount for anything and urge you to check it out. I work full-time and have a family but still make it my business to give time to MSU. When you visit you'll see why.

As an alumna of the school, I am amazed by the continued commitment to academic excellence and the award winning art program provided by the Academy. I miss my alma mater for all it has given me and continues to give the young women of the Bronx!

I am disappointed by the fact that MSU does not have a representation of women leaders. They lost a very inspirational leader last year in the new president. Why can't they have good role models four our daughters?

The Academy of Mount Saint Ursula is a wonderfull school to attend. The teachers are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to help a student out with any stuggles they may have. Im so proud to say im a senior at Mount Saint Ursula. With the education they have given me and all the morals they have placed into my mind I know I will achieve success at anything I determine to do

As a former student I am proud to say that I attended AMSU. The environment is warm and friendly and the teachers are very approachable and do want to get to know you.

I am an alum of MSU and an active member of the school's alumnae network. I'm grateful for the excellent education, focus on values and service that MSU gave me. The dedicated faculty was and still is fabulous. MSU is a special place.

Great school but they need a track team!

The minute I laid my eyes on MSU, I fell in love. I love that the school gives a lot of extracurricular activities. Every one seems happy and the campus is beautiful.
